LATA purchased a two-year old Skandic Super Wide
Track utility snowmobile that had been used as a back-up groomer
at Wolverine Trail in Ironwood, Michigan. This means we will have
two Skandics, one for Sisters' Farm and one for the Ladysmith
High School Trail. This should allow us to groom sooner after
snow falls and provide a backup in case of mechanical problems.

Local Chapter of Ice Age Foundation to
be Formed
Here is a letter sent to Andy Albarado of Rusk County
Development recently. Anyone can contact Nancy directly and I
will post more information as it becomes available.
Andy –
I wonder if you could help to put me in contact with those interested
in the Ice Age Trail in Rusk County? We are planning an organizational
meeting in the next few months for a new chapter there, and would
like to have a good way to contact trail-friendly folks. Any help
you could give would be appreciated.
